PE wax is mainly composed of a mixture of low-density polyethylene and high-density polyethylene, with a linear chain like molecular structure and excellent physical and chemical properties. The chemical structure of PE wax is similar to that of ordinary polyethylene, but the small molecular weight of PE wax leads to differences in its physical and chemical properties. 1. Stability: PE wax has excellent chemical stability and can resist corrosion by acids, alkalis, salts, and various solvents. PE wax will not deteriorate, smell or decompose at room temperature. This makes PE wax an ideal choice for many industries and businesses.
2. Lubricity: PE wax can reduce the frictional resistance of surfaces that are difficult to slide in mechanical systems. Thus improving the efficiency of the mechanical system. In terms of lubrication, PE wax can be mixed with other resins, greases, and solvents to increase its lubrication characteristics.
3. Thermal stability: Due to the high melting point and low viscosity of polyethylene wax, it can still maintain stability under high temperature and high humidity conditions. PE wax has a low degree of polymerization and is not easily decomposed at high temperatures or humidity.
